SYDNEY – Playing Tourists!
Every time we move to a new house sit we like to “play tourists” for a day at least or a few days while we are there. We pack a back pack, the camera, comfy shoes and off we go. Try desperately to work out the bus timetables (FAIL every time – why are trains so much easier than buses??) and purposely get lost so that we can see what we can find.
Our most recent two house sits were in Sydney and we were there for about 6 weeks. We did two trips one, around the CBD and Circular Quay and another on the Northern Beaches.
So here is a taste of what we did in photos for Trip 1:
Gorgeous church we found trying to find the right bus stop….
These buildings are my absolute favourite, so much character and of course special memories as our good friends were married in one of them.
This guy was AWESOME! So many buskers along the Quay but this guy was by far our fav, check him out: Jack Dawson Music he also had a different way of playing his guitar but we didn’t get a picture of it.
Parramatta fountain
Hopefully you can all work out this one?? 🙂
Town Hall at night, the colour looked amazing, photo doesn’t even do it justice
One of the sweet shops in the markets at The Rocks
Of course Sydney Opera House, you can’t miss it!
Such a sweet and unique voice, we loved this guy, he stopped crowds of people: Cuzn Music
I LOVE all old buildings and this one just photographed so well!
